Biography

James was born in 1781. He is the son of Israel Grant and Susan Bryan.

He married Sarah Sally Eastin 1 Apr 1809 in Bourbon, Kentucky, United States.[1]

James paternal grandmother`s brother was Daniel Boone. Interestingly, on the Michael/Mikels side of the tree, Hugh Mikels (1807) married Charity Scholl, grandniece of Daniel Boone. LDS ancestry file and source 101.
