Salina Journal – Sep. 18, 1978 ERNEST W. GRANT CONCORDIA - The funeral for Ernest Wayne Grant, 51, Concordia, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, the Rev. William Dunphy officiating. Burial will be in the St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia, with a VFW graveside service. Mr. Grant died Saturday at the Sunset Home Nursing Center, Concordia.

He was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Penokee, and had lived in Concordia since 1951.

He was a farm implement salesman for Gould Inc., Concordia.

Mr. Grant was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Elks Lodge and the American Legion, all of Concordia and the Veterans of Foreign Wars post at Clyde.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Delia, of the home; three sons, LIVING; his parents, LIVING; a brother, LIVING, and a sister, LIVING, both of Hill City, and six grandchildren. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
