Mary Grant, born 8 Aug 1770 at Stonington, Connecticut, was the ninth child of Oliver Grant and Ann Borodel Billings.
She married 14 Nov 1791 at Stonington, Connecticut, Elijah Palmer. This family moved away from their birthplaces in the secure coastal villages of southern Connecticut to the woodland wilderness of eastern central New York State during the post-Revolutionary War period as the population undertook a mass westward migration. They had at least 5 children, all born at Columbus and Brookfield, New York.
Mary (Grant) Palmer died 4 Feb 1856, most likely in Madison County, or nearby Chenango County, New York.
