Biography

John Grant, born 24 Apr 1664 at Windsor, Connecticut, was the third child of Samuel Grant and Mary Porter.

He married Elizabeth Skinner June 5, 1690, at Windsor, Connecticut. They had 2 children, born at Windsor:

1. John Grant, b. 3 Mar 1690/91; married 11 Nov 1714 Mary Chapman; d. 16 Jan 1771
2. Elizabeth Grant, b. about 1692

John Grant died 19 Jul 1695 at Windsor, Connecticut.

His widow, Elizabeth (Skinner) Grant, married (2nd) 12 May 1697 Joshua Welles of Windsor (son of Joshua Welles & Azubah Lamson).
