I'm very curious about my ancestry on both sides (and beyond!). I never got to know my paternal grandfather and don't even know his name.

I'm also quite interested in learning about other family "black sheep," and how they managed.

My husband comes from a purported "Mayflower Family," and also has American Civil War era Underground Railroad history. I'd like to think my ancestors did more than dig potatoes and serve as the night watch for enough generations that we're mostly nocturnal.
