George was born about 1880.
He is the son of William Grant and Jane Young.
In 1881 George was living at 11 The Loan in Loanhead, Lasswade Parish with his parents.[1]
In 1891 George was a scholar living at Dryden Tower with his parents and siblings.[2]
In 1901 George lived with his parents and siblings at 2 West End Cottages, The Loan, Loanhead. He was a coal miner.[3]
