When Stanley Richard Grant was born on November 13, 1886, his father, William, was 38 and his mother, Harriet, was 27. He married Mae Bell Street and they had three children together. He then married Goldie Viola Pendergrass on April 6, 1951, in Topeka, Kansas. He died on December 21, 1979, in Topeka, Kansas, at the age of 93, and was buried there.
