This Profile is an absolute mess. The Alexander Grant b. 16 may 1771 d. 17 March 1748, did NOT come over on the Hector in 1773, he arrived in Glengarry Ontario in 1786 with his father John Duldraeggan Grant, he was sometimes known as Judge Alexander, but mostly known as Honourable Alexander Grant of L'Orignal Ontario, where he ran a Trading Post called Duldraeggan Hall. He was married to a McDonell, and is buried at Cassburn Ontario.
