According to his death certificate, Chesley was a Blacksmith by trade. He died in the Harper Rest home in Jacksonville New Brunswick (outside Woodstock) at the age of 86. His body was laid to rest in the New Lenentine, York County.
Chesley and Amanda had only one son who died possibly at birth in 1930.
Chesley and his sister Florence Ida Grant Grant-17148 were twins. Born being born on November 22, 1890.
