Biography

Roswell Miller Grant, born 10 Jan 1802 at Youngstown, Ohio, was the sixth child of Rachel (Miller) Kelly, the second wife of Noah Delano Grant.

Roswell Miller Grant served in Col. Todd's regiment in the war of 1912 as a drummer boy. He was a tanner and farmer. Vestryman of St. Mark's church in St. Albans, W. Virginia.

He married 3 times:

1) 12 Aug 1849 @ Maysville, Kentucky, Mary Levi [b. May 1808 @ Maysville, Kentucky, daughter of Judas Levi and Mary McGraw; d. 12 Apr 1849 @ St. Albans, W. Virginia]
