Biography
Jensine Larsen Jensen “Jensena - Sena” Grass Schafer was born in 28 Dec 1884 Kommune, Syddanmark, Denmark. She was christened in Bjerreby sogn, Svendborg amt., Denmark.
She came to America at the age of three in 1888. After arriving in America, the family went directly to Owatonna, MN to reunite with Jensine's two older siblings that came in 1887.
Jensena married George Jacob Schafer, (son of Jacob M. Schafer and Elizabeth Butsch), on Oct. 10, 1906. They had one son, John.
During the Great Depression, Jensena and her husband moved to Wisconsin.
Jensine Grass Schafer passed away in 1945 (aged 60–61) Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, USA.
