John Thomas Gray was born on February 14, 1857 in Lawrence County, AL.
John (49) married Mary Burt Johnson (27) (born on January 18, 1879 in Moulton, Lawrence, Alabama, United States; daughter of Archibald D. Johnson and Sarah Ann (Raper) Johnson) on July 17, 1906. Their son was John Richard Gray (1895–1965).
John died on May 24, 1934 in Kitchens Mill, Lawrence County, aged 77. He was buried in Raper Cemetery, Decatur, Morgan County, Alabama.[1]
