Obit (1934), died in 92nd year at home of his daughter Mrs. Philip St. Croix (was about the house until only a few days earlier; he'd been up town several times during the summer, voted in June's provincial election). Boyhood in Chinguacousy, came to Orangeville as a young man, lived there for some years. Moved to east half of lot 1, conc. 1, east, Mono where he farmed. Operated the Mono limekilns for 57 years. "He was a kindly, industrious man and a good neighbor."
