Biography
William Gray was born 30 SEP 1814 Tiverton, Newport Co, RI.[1] He came from Rhode Island moving to Illinois in 1837. William was a carpenter by trade. He married Mary Brown 01 Dec 1840 LaSalle Co. IL[2], and settled IL in about 1837. They had three children: Arthur, who married Belle Bane, James who married Candace Fuller and Fanny who married James Chase.
William died 29 DEC 1881 Deer Park, LaSalle Co., IL/Deer Park, Lake Co., IL. [3][4]
