In 1851, James a Master Mariner was living with his wife Ann Todd at Clarence Place, Ruswarp, Whitby, Yorkshire, England. Also in the household were their childen James Todd, William Neptune, Ann, Matthew and Eliza Mary. [6][7]

In 1861, Ann was living at 10, Abbey Terrace Hudson Street, Whitby, Yorkshire, England and her job was Lodging House Keeper. Also in the household are her children Ann, Matthew and Eliza Mary. [9]
Ann has not been found in the census' after1861 and there is no obvious death registration. There is a married in 1862 between an Ann Grey and William Gray in Whitby that could b this person. {checked 18th of August 2016}
