Biography
Thomas5 Gray (Joshua4 , Andrew3 , John2 , John1 ), born Oct. 3, 1766; died Sept. 25, 1811 He was drowned in the Creek at Yarmouth.
He married Ruth Davis of Barnstable. Their bans of marriage were published May 16, 1789. She was the daughter of Capt. William and Martha (Crocker) Davis.
Her grandfather was Timothy Crocker. She was born Jan. 24, 1763; died Feb. 20, 1810.
Children {Gray):
1. Sally, born 1790; died Oct. 7, 1871.
2. William Davis, born 1793; "lost at sea in the autumn of 1818 from the schooner Reporter on her passage from Fredericksburg to Boston, aged 25 years."
