DNA

  • Paternal relationship is confirmed by a triangulated group on MyHeritageDNA who share a 14.5 cM segment on chromosome 7, consisting of VH and Jerry Slone, her 4th cousin 1x removed, and AS, her 5th cousin. (Jerry and AS are 4th cousins 1x removed.) These matches have been independently verified via the MyHeritage Chromosome Browser. Their most-recent common ancestors are John Giesler and Maria, the 4x-great-grandparents of VH, 3x-great-grandparents of Jerry Slone and 4x-great-grandparents of AS.
