Samuel Henry Gray was born on October 25, 1882 in Roanoke, Virginia, United States, son of Richard Henry Gray (~1857– ) and Mary Lucinda Falls (1858– ).
Samuel married Maggie Lula Austin (born on May 19, 1882 in Franklin Co., VA; daughter of James Preston Austin and Miranda Tuppins Perkins). Their children were:
Samuel died on March 20, 1957 in Portsmouth, Virginia, aged 74.[1]
