Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1779. She married Samuel Twombly on 1796. It was the first marriage performed in Sheffield, Vermont. There are 7 recorded children, 4 of which are buried in Cleaves Cemetery. Three daughters, Elizabeth, Hannah and Almina married 3 Nokes brothers, George, John and William, sons of Jacob and Mary Nokes. She passed away in 1859. [1]
