Thomas Baird Allison Gray was born 12 Dec 1857 in Marchand, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George Gray and Barbara Hoover. He married Laura Gallagher 24 Sep 1884, in Dixonville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was a blacksmith and a carpenter by trade and a member of the Baptist Church, the Order of United Mechanics, the Maccabees and the Heptasophs.
