Hannah was born in Oct 1732 in Christiana Hundred, New Castle County, Delaware to parents Samuel Greaves/Grave and Sidney (Wynne) Greaves. Her parents were Quakers who had removed from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Delaware shortly after marrying. [1] She was orphaned at 14 yrs old. Her mother passed away in 1745 and her father passed away in 1746. She is mentioned as an heir in her fathers Will. [2] Along with her two other minor siblings, she returned to family in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She married Caleb Pierce on 22 Oct 1755 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. They had at least the following children:

She passed away on 24 JUN 1790 in East Marlborough, Chester County, Pennsylvania
