Sarah Green was born on 15 Sep 1836 to John Rice Green and Temperance (Dirden) Green in North Carolina, United States.

In the 1850 census Sarah (age 11) was in New Berne, Craven, North Carolina, United States.[1]

Sarah (36) and Riley Skeen (38) were married on 4 Sep 1873 in Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States. Riley was born about 1834 in North Carolina, United States.

In the 1880 census Sarah (age 44), Keeping House, was the wife of Riley Skeen in Baughman Township, Wayne, Ohio, United States.[2]

In the 1900 census Sarah (age 61) was the wife of Ril Skeine in Cleveland Ward 23, Cuyahoga, Ohio.[3]

Sarah passed away on 25 Apr 1931 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States, aged 94. She was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.[4]

Her obituary was published in the News and Record on 5 September 1931 in Greensboro, North Carolina.[5]
