In the 1880 census Sarah (age 44), Keeping House, was the wife of Riley Skeen in Baughman Township, Wayne, Ohio, United States.^[2]

In the 1900 census Sarah (age 61) was the wife of Ril Skeine in Cleveland Ward 23, Cuyahoga, Ohio.^[3]

Sarah passed away on 25 Apr 1931 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States, aged 94. She was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.^[4]

Her obituary was published in the News and Record on 5 September 1931 in Greensboro, North Carolina.^[5]
