Esther Green married Robert Harvey Robert Harvey at Tharston on the 19 March 1851
Esther had a daughter called Henrietta born and registered as Henrietta Green in early 1851. Esther then married a Robert Harvey at Tharston on the 19th March 1851[2]. Eleven days after the marriage on 30 March 1851 Esther and her new husband are surnamed Harvey but baby Henrietta has the surname Green. After this date Henrietta adopts the surname Harvey though the likelihood is that she was not Roberts daughter.

Three years later In the 1881 census life has taken a bad turn for the Harvey family as Esthers husband John Harvey had become blind and had given up his occupation as a fish dealer. The three sons of the marriage Robert, Albert and John were still young and were recorded as scholars, presumably with no major occupation. It is possible that at this time the major breadwinner for the three generation household was John Howlett, the absent groom and husband of Henrietta Harvey, Esthers daughter.
