Eleanor's parents were Henry Green (b, 18 Apr 1802, Bromley, Kent, England; d. 2 Sept 1876, Woodend, NZ) and Clarissa (known as Clara) Fane Roper (b. 23 Feb 1805, Botolph St without Aldgate, St Martins in the Field, London; d. 21 Mar 1899, Woodend, NZ).
She emigrated to New Zealand on board the SS Fatima with her parents arriving at Lyttelton, Canterbury. Date: 27 December 1851.
Eleanor Green married John Bailey.
She died on 17 June 1933 at St George's Hospital, Christchurch, New Zealand.
