Biography

His parents were John Green and Mary Price. He married Rebecca Roark on April 5, 1840. She was only 14 years old. Edward and Rebecca had at least 8 children. Edward served in the Civil War, on the Union side. He was a private in the 1st Regiment Tennessee Infantry, Co. F. He suffered from some sort of injury or disease during the war, and he applied for his pension on August 11, 1870. He died in 1883. His wife Rebecca was probably buried next to him.
