FRANCIS GREEN “GREENE” was born on 30 Sep 1678; in Woburn, Massachusetts.[1] He was the son of William Greene and Hannah Kendall. He married Elizabeth Torrey (1685-1732), daughter of Lt. Josiah Torrey and Sarah Wilson, around 1702, likely in Woburn, Massachusetts. They had 10 children: Mehitable; Elizabeth; David; Hepzibah; Persilan; Hannah (1713-1766); Francis; Abigail; Samuel; and Sarah (1723-1790). Their first 2 children were born in Woburn, Massachusetts. By 1707 they moved to Mendon, Massachusetts, after Francis purchased land from Josiah Torrey (see Torrey Family History, pg 33), and then moved one last time to Mansfield, Connecticut by 1711. Elizabeth died in 1724 and he died around 1759.
