Thomas Green was born about 1814 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

Thomas Green married Ann Bacon in 1834 at St Edmund King and Martyr, Mansfield Woodhouse [1].

In 1841 Thomas was a starch maker living at Tenter Lane, Mansfield with his wife Mary and 2 children [2].

Thomas Green married Eliza Mellors in 1848 in Mansfield [3].

In 1851 Thomas was still working as a starch maker but living at Wood Street, Mansfield with his second wife Eliza and his children from his first marriage [4].

He died in 1883 in Mansfield [5].
