Mrs. R. Leger
The death of Mrs. Regina Leger, widow of Isaïe Leger of 102 Redmond Street, Moncton, occurred Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Huberte LeBlanc of Moncton, after a lengthy illness. She was 92. Born in Buctouche, she was a daughter of the late John and Susanne (Allain) Girouard. She attended the Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Humphrey. Her husband died in 1953. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Cecime Cormier (Lorette) of Memramcook, Mrs. Germaine Leger of Waltham, Mass., Mrs. Helen Girouard of Buctouche, Mrs. Huberte LeBlanc and Mrs. Telex Cormier (Yvonne), both of Moncton, and Mrs. Alphonse LeBlanc (Dorina) of Sudbury, Ont; five sons, Yvon of Leominster, Mass., Neri, Val and Ulysse, all of Moncton and Herve Leger of Buctouche; 75 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Moncton until Thursday when the body will be forwarded to Maillet's funeral home, Buctouche, to rest there until funeral service. Mass will be celebrated Friday at the St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Buctouche, at a time to be announced with interment in the parish cemetery.
