Biography

The will is transcribed as:

I, Robert Green, of Old Buckenham in the County of Norfolk, yeoman, do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say, I give and devise unto Ann, my wife, all and every my messuages, land, tenements and hereditaments whatseover freehold or copyhold situate lying and being in Old Buckenham aforesaid and now in my own occupation to hold the same unto her the said Ann, my wife, her heirs and assigns forever. Then I give and bequeath unto the said Ann my wife all and every my goods and chattels, cattle and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever to hold to her executors and admons forever, the paying all my just debts, funeral charges and debtors of this my will. And lastly, I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint, the said Ann, my wife, and Humphrey Bidwell of Old Buckenham, aforesaid, tailor executrix and executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament set and put my hand and seal the 25th day of March 1755.
