Joshua Green/Greene born abt 1782 in New York state. He married Ester Stiles born in 1786.
He was a soldier in the War of 1812. [1]
He lived in many places in New York state before moving to Vinton County, Ohio by 1850. [2]
He then moved on west to settle in Stearns County, Minnesota where he passed away. [3]
He was married twice, first to Ester/Esther Stiles/Styles with whom 10 children were born. He married his second wife, Widow Jane Aiken/Aikens on July 27th, 1858 in Athens County, Ohio when he was about 76 years of age.

He was aged 81 when he and Jane had their only child named Affie/Effie Maye Green.

This was a very lengthy research that took me all over the country. This Joshua seems to be the son of Fones and Anna Green of New Lebanon, Old Albany (now Columbia) County, New York.
