Biography
John Baxter Green was born November 19, 1822 in Franklin County, Ohio of Thomas Green and Sarah Marsh . He was a farmer and stock-raiser, residing on section 30, Marshall Township, On the paternal side he is descended from the Irish, his grandfather having been born in Cork, Ireland, In 1756. he emigrated to America six weeks prior to the birth of his son Thomas, and located in the Keystone State.
