Leona Gertrude Green
Leona was born June 24, 1898, in Nemaha County, NE.^[1] She married Sidney G. Curtis on May 25, 1917. He was born in 1895. He died April 14, 1920. She then married Mansfield Benton (Bud) Ginn on February 1, 1922. Bud was a carpenter. She died June 17, 1946, and is buried at Auburn, NE.

Leona was the daughter of Ephraim Green (1845-1923) and Malinda Gertrude Asbel (1852-1930) and she is in their household in 1900, living in Glen Rock Precinct, Julian village, Nemaha county, Nebraska.^[2] In 1910, the household of E A Green was located in Algernon, Custer, Nebraska.^[3] They were back in Nemaha county, but instead were living in Glen Rock township, in 1920, and after Leona married Sidney, they and their baby June are living with Ephraim and Malinda.^[4] They had a son, Sidney, Jr., who died before the census and Sidney, Sr. died shortly after they were recorded in the census.

Leona had three children. The first two were with Sidney Curtis;

1. June Pauline Curtis Born February 5, 1919, Died 23 July 1975.
2. Sidney Curtis Born 1920 and died 14 April 1920.

The third child was with Bud Ginn

1. Gleola (Glee) Uvyonne Ginn Born September 9, 1922.

Ephraim died in 1923 and Malinda died in 1930. Leona and Bud were married and living in Douglas township of Nemaha county, then with a second daughter, Geola, in 1930.^[5] Leona, Mansfield and Gleola were living in the city of Auburn in 1940.^[6]

She died in 1946 and her body was buried in the Sheridan Cemetery in Auburn. Bud died in 1949 and was also buried in Sheridan Cemetery.^[7]
