Abt 1770 he moved with his mother and stepfather Samuel Wilson to Guildford Co. North Carolina where he married Margaret Warnock abt 9 Dec 1790 (bond date) .

Edward Green Sr. died in Guilford Co., North Carolina on May 22 1835 and was buried at Friendship United Methodist Cemetery between Monticello & Osceola-near the Rockingham Co./Guilford Co. line. [2]
