John Green immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
John Green was christened 6 Dec 1632 at Toppesfield, Essex, England along with several of his siblings, before the family immigrated to Massachusetts (estimated at between 1642 and 1644).[1] (mother listed as Elizabeth)[2]
See "The Ancestry of Eva Belle Kempton" for extensive research using primary records (parish registers, wills, court records etc) on this family. Several internet narratives using unsourced or poorly sourced publications have confused their narrative in several ways. Details are on the father of this man, Thomas Green of Toppesfield and Malden[3]
The sources listed here previously associated with a Malden christening actually show other information about the Greens of Malden such as the 3rd marriage of Thomas senior to Frances Unk. / Wheeler / Cook and births of some of the children of Thomas Junior and his siblings.[4][5]
Dea. John Green, son of Thomas, married Sarah Wheeler, daughter of Isaac Wheeler whose wife Frances Wheeler afterwards married Richard Cook and after that she married John Green's Father, Thomas Green, Sr. His mother-in-law married his father Thomas Green, Sr. [5]
"He was a respectable and influential citizen of Malden; freeman, 24 oct 1668; captain of a military company, and for many years deacon of the church. He was selectman nineteen years between 1678 and 1701, and represented the town in the General Court 1692-3-4-6." [5]
John Green died 16 October 1707 at age 75 years [Gravestone]. His gravestone proves out his birth year of 1632. His Will is dated the previous day, 15 oct 1707; proved 10 Nov 1707; recorded Midd. Prob., 11:177. After making bequests to wife Sarah, dau. Sarah Sprague and gr. dau. Mehitable Sprague (then under 18) he gives the rest of his estate to his son John, who is made executor. [6][5]

Greene-7809 and Green-5305 appear to represent the same person because: duplicate sons of early malden immigrant thomas green-133. Last name of 'Green' is fine to retain, seems to be more commonly used than 'Greene'
Note, actual mother is Elizabeth Unknown-581419, this will be auto-corrected when Elizabeth Newman-974 is merged into her. See bio of father Thomas Green-133 for full details.
