Sarah was born ca 1858, probably in Pike County, Alabama. She was the daughter of James Green and Melissa Sellers. Sarah was said to have married a Duffy/Duffey and moved to Mississippi, somewhere near the Tupelo area. Haven't been able to verify this.

Green,
In the 1910 census, Melissa (Sellers) Green states that only two of her three children are living. Since both of the younger daughters are living at that time, Sarah must have been the one who died before 1910. The 1900 census states that all three of Melissa's children are living so Sarah must have died between 1900 and 1910.
