In the 1790 Census, Joseph Green was recorded as head of a 84 person household including 70 slaves.[4]

Joseph Green signed his Last Will on 4 April 1803 in Wayne County, North Carolina. His wives predeceased him.[5]

A copy of Joseph Green's Last Will and Testament was found in Wake County, North Carolina Probate records. The note on the file says "Original does not survive in the Wayne Co. records".
Joseph Green signed his Last Will on 4 April 1803 in Wayne County, North Carolina and proved in the February Term of 1804[6] He was predeceased by his wives.
