Miller McAfee Green was born about 1825 in Greenville County, South Carolina, the son of William Green and Nancy A. (Bates) Green. He was the brother of William B. Green, Anderson T. Greene, Mary P. Greene, James L. Green and John J. Green.
Miller died on September 1846 in Calhoun County, Alabama of Measles, contracted while serving with the Benton Volunteers during Mexican conflict. He died at home.
In 1846 Miller served with the Benton Volunteers during the Mexican War. [1]
