Margaret (known as Cissie) ran a boarding house called "Norman Park House" in the 1910s in Cairns with her sisters Bridget and Lilly. They apparently all lived there together until Bridget's death in 1939.
An account of her son Kevin's (Harold) wedding to Elsie Stokes in December 1931 included a description of Margaret's dress, a "claret crepe de Chine frock relieved with coffee lace and a smart black hat".[1]
Margaret died in Cairns, Queensland in 1951 and is buried in the cemetery there.
