Name: Unie Mae Greene Given Name: Unie Mae Surname: Greene Sex: F Birth: 22 Oct 1915 in North Carolina Death: 22 Dec 2004 Burial: Cleveland Memorial Park, Fountain Section, Boiling Springs, Cleveland CO NC Note: Mrs. Unie Mae Greene Bowen Jones, 89, of 3006 Fieldstone Lane, formerly of 110 Spring St., died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.�Born in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie Francis Greene Sr. and Elizabeth Moore Greene. She retired from L & K Sewing Mill and was a lifelong member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.�In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Bowen and Alvie Jones; two brothers, Yates Greene and Herschel Greene; and two sisters, Vernon Cooper and Nita McCraw.�She is survived by a daughter, Renna Shook and husband, Randy, of Boiling Springs; a brother, Johnnie Greene Jr. and wife, Irene, of Boiling Springs; a sister, Rilla Gantt and husband, Flay, of Boiling Springs; two grandchildren, Ron Shook of Boiling Springs and Jennifer Lackey and husband, Seth, of Shelby; and a great-grandchild, Aaron Dixon Lackey.�The funeral is today at 11 a.m. at Boiling Springs Baptist Church, with Dr. Carroll Page officiating. The body will be placed in the church an hour before the service. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
