William Greer was born in 1853 in Murrurundi, New South Wales (Australia). He was the son of Thomas Greer and Catherine (Hussey) Doherty (abt.1830-1916)
He held the position of President of the Warrah Shire Council for 21 years.
William passed away in August 1947 in Blandford, New South Wales. [1] The Warrah Shire Council honoured their esteemed late colleague with a moment's silence in their monthly meeting. [2]
