Judy Ann Gregory, daughter of William J. Gregory and Mary Ann Celia (Davis) Gregory, was born on 3 Aug. 1845 in Riddleton, Smith County, Tennseess.[1] She appeared on the census of 17 Oct. 1850 in the home of her parents at North of Cumberland and East of Caney Fork Rivers, Smith, Tennessee.[2] She appeared on the census of 15 June 1860 in the home of her parents at District 3, Smith, Tennessee.[3]
She married James Campbell “Pa Jim” Nixon, son of William Nickson and Mary Ann (Oldham) Nickson, on 12 Jan. 1865 in Smith County, Tennessee.[4][1]
Judy died on 25 25 Dec. 1912 at Riddleton, Smith County, Tennessee and was buried at Nixon Cemetery, Smith County, Tennessee. Her memorial has photos and links to those of family members.[1]
