Thomas Siler 'Tank' Gregory was born in 1856. [1] Thomas was the son ofJames Gregory andElizabeth (Beal) Gregory. He was the brother of James Richard Gregory, Nathan Gregory, Noah Anderson Gregory, Lovey Ann Gregory Bradley, and Isaac "Ike" Gregory. He was half brother to John G. Gregory, Jacob Gregory, and William Gregory.

  • Thomas first married Laura B. Caudle in Red River County, Texas. Laura is buried in Red River County, Texas). Thomas and Laura had two daughters:
  1. Lena (Gregory) Taylor
  2. Minnie (Gregory) Dunlap
  • Thomas next married Jeanette "Anna" Wright (they married in Arkansas). Thomas and Anna had two sons:
  1. Calvin L. Gregory and
  2. Nathan T. Gregory

Death

Thomas passed away 23 Sep 1928 (aged 71–72). [2] Thomas died a pauper and his maternal great grandson, Bill Wiseman, placed a gravemarker upon his grave.

Wiseman-783 Bill Wiseman Dr.
Thomas S. Gregory and Laura B. Caudle had 2 girls: my grandmother: Minnie Dashwood Gregory and Lena Elizabeth Gregory. After Laura died Thomas married Jeanette Wright and they had 2 boys: Calvin Luther Gregory and Nathan T. Gregory. We placed the headstone on Thomas' grave in Tillman, OK. I suspect Laura is buried in Manchester. I understand that about 1982 a tornado level the Cemetery and many headstones were gone or leveled in cleaning up the cemetery.
