George was the Second Earl of Kent from 1490 to 1505 and 5th Baron Grey de Ruthyn.
He was made a Knight of the Bath by King Richard III in July 1483. He served as Justice of the Peace for:
Huntingdonshire from 1480,
Northamptonshire from 1480
Bedfordshire from 1483,
Buckinghamshire from 1494
and Kent from 1496.
Marriage
George married twice to:
(in or aft. 1483) Anne Wydevilleor Woodville, daughter of Richard Woodville, 1st Earl Rivers, and Jacquetta of Luxembourg.[1][3] Issue: 1 son.
(01 Oct 1490) Catherine, 3rd daughter of William Herbert, 1st Earl of Pembroke and Anne Devereux.[1][3]Issue: 3s. and 1da.[3]
