Charles Wilmer Griffin was born on 27 Sep. 1872 at New Salem Township, McDonough Co., Illinois, USA. He appeared on the census of 10 June 1880 in the household of his parents, William Addison Griffin and Mary Jane (Herlocker) Griffin, at New Salem, McDonough Co., Illinois.[1] His father died in 1896 and he appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 in the household of his mother at McDonough Co., Illinois.
He married Anna Marie Cathriner, daughter of Marcus Cathriner, circa 1910.
He died on 2 Sep. 1944 at Goose Creek, Harris County, Texas, at age 71and was buried in at Prairie Lea Cemetery, Brenham, Washington County, Texas.[2] His memorial has a photo of his gravestone shared with Anna Marie.[3]
