There was a period folowing rhe end of the French and Indian War and prior to the Rev War, when the entire eastern seasboard was in torment against the British rules and customs,.This took many forms including the refusal to register, births, deaths, marriages, ot year and even no church records were kept. This continued even after the end of the Rev War but states gradually added records.Research of records of Simsbury, Conn. do not show any Sarah Griffin Granger or marriage. Sarah may have been born in Mass as the Grangers lived in a bordering area.There are three Sarah Griffins born in Conn. as inserted.
