Richard Griffin was born 21 Apr 1828.

In the 1880 census Richard (age 52), Farming, was the married head of household in Washington Township, Laclede, Missouri, United States.[2]

Richard Griffin passed away 3 Apr 1888. His grave is in White Oak Pond Cemetery, Lebanon, Laclede County, Missouri, USA [3].
