Biography
Edwin was born about 1847 In England. His Father was William Yeates And his mother Elizabeth Griffin At the age of 18 Edwin immigrated to America arriving in 1865 He married Matilda Remington in1867 or 68. They had four sons and two daughters. Their daughter Clara is one of my maternal grandmothers. Matilda passed away in 1882. Edwin remarried Emma J in 1885. They had four children together. Edwin died in Warren,Pennsylvania on the 9th of April 1922 at the age of 85 and is buried in the Wrightsville,Warren County Cemetery [1]
