Elizabeth was born about 1827. She was the daughter of John Griffin and Mary Atkinson. She passed away about 1866. 1830 census Jefferson, Tennessee (with parents, two females under 5 yrs.) 1840 census Jefferson, Tennessee (with parents, two females 10-14 yrs.) 1850 census District 13, Jefferson, Tennessee (with parents, age 25 yrs.) Bet. 1850 - 1851 Married Reuben Rutherford Children include John Rutherford (1851-?); Julia A. Rutherford (1853-?); Mary Rutherford (1860-?). 1860 census District 8, Cocke, Tennessee (with husband, age 32 yrs.)
