Biography

Ellen Sarah Griffin was born 16 December 1867 in the Western District of Eleuthera, Bahamas to Edward Francis Griffin and Anne Eliza Biggs..^[1]

Ellen married Jerome Eugene Pyfrom in 1888 - probably in Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. The couple had children - among them Maud Pauline, Jabez, Cora, Sidney Campbell, Theodore Roosevelt, Ruth Hortense, William E and Florence Ellen Pyfrom.

Ellen Sarah Griffin Pyfrom died 7 June 1966 in the Bahama Islands at 98 years of age.^[2]
