Stephen Griffith was born about 1674.[1][2] Various family files have dates as late as 1680, Cutter at 1665 is the earliest.
He married Rebecca Rider on 1 April 1699 at Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.[3][1][2]
Stephen Griffith made his will 10 August 1742, added a codicil 13 May 1745 making further provisions for his wife, and it was probated 17 October 1745.[4]
